Aurora acted as our retained Radiation Protection Adviser and were key partners in the surrender of our Environment Agency Permit as part of the site decommissioning of our large pharmaceutical R&D site in the UK. To achieve the detail of surrender documentation required in a very tight schedule, Aurora demonstrated the highest level of project management and technical skills, using a team with specific experience for the task and had access to a wide range of monitoring equipment to achieve the required outcome.

We have used Aurora for radiation protection services for over 16 years since our clinical imaging centre was instigated, including in RPA, RWA, DGSA roles, and providing advice on MRI and laser safety, management of electromagnetic fields, and compliance with patient safety requirements such as IR(ME)R.

Fantastic course, sufficiently detailed and well-paced. Split between Joel and Jon, it was nice to split the voices up throughout, both clearly very knowledgeable guys. Breaks really helped, especially in an interactive setting as I was working from home. Very well run for an online course and definitely not ‘death by PowerPoint,’ which I was apprehensive of.
