The Trust engaged Aurora Health Physics to undertake radiological monitoring and decommissioning works on several of its main hospital sites. We have exclusively used Aurora to carry out works of this nature since 2003. All the projects that Aurora has undertaken for us have been meticulously planned, executed as per program, on time and on budget. Reports have always been issued promptly, post completion of the works.

Aurora acted as our retained Radiation Protection Adviser and were key partners in the surrender of our Environment Agency Permit as part of the site decommissioning of our large pharmaceutical R&D site in the UK. To achieve the detail of surrender documentation required in a very tight schedule, Aurora demonstrated the highest level of project management and technical skills, using a team with specific experience for the task and had access to a wide range of monitoring equipment to achieve the required outcome.

The Trust employed Aurora to survey and decommission contaminated land and buildings on Trust premises, during the period 2008 to 2015. These projects were planned meticulously, expertly managed and executed professionally, instilling confidence and trust.
